How much you can earn truly PASSIVELY on Medium
I qualified for the Partner Program about 2 months ago, went silent on here just to see how much money I could truly earn passively on Medium
My journey on Medium started just as they introduced the minimum requirements to join the partner program. Since then, I had written intermittently in between demands of the day jobs until about 3 months ago. I made a concerted effort and hit the 100 subscribers required to join the program (thank you for all those following along — I’ll be writing my tips on this shortly).
Then, I went… silent.
No new articles, no new comments and not even new claps on articles.
It seems like the worst thing you can do after building momentum, right? But I wanted to see just how much someone could earn on Medium just coasting on old articles WITHOUT any interaction whatsoever.
The claps and comments meant that I had a steady stream of views/reads coming into my work. Here’s what my stats looked like in the month prior to joining the program
